Dear Croissant, this week we continue our journey through fiction, time and space and, this time, in very good company with our friends the robots. Funny, necessary, dangerous, disturbing... just like what we are experiencing right now with AI, in fiction these new lives, these technological lives created by us, are also protagonists of their own circumstances, duties, dreams, and adventures.

This week we continue with the series "Fiction but Future. Chapter 2: SCI-FI," where we explore the universe of narrative, storytelling, and fiction in its most imaginative genre: science fiction. Since AI is all the rage right now, and this whole thing is really a personal exercise to understand it and become friends—almost like a Self-Sci-Fi experiment (a nod to last week's article)—this Sunday I’ve let AI co-write the information with me. This leaves me with more time and energy for what I love and what is mine to do: conceptualizing and drawing.

Well, today's Sunday's Living For Breakfast wasn't supposed to talk about science fiction and AIs, but in the end, it's perfect to talk about it, making this Chapter 1/7 of this new series, FICTION BUT FUTURE, about AI, science fiction, and its marvelous cultural references: books, cinema, fashion, illustration... I WOULDN'T MISS IT (I won't miss them because someone has to write it (Laughter)).

Today we’ll keep walking in this French but wild garden that is Paris, we’ll dress Dior, find a treasure exhibition in the metro & say goodbye to an agent & friend with a big celebration. Isn’t life beautiful? Rain has come back to Paris. Isn’t rain beautiful?

How are you? New projects are exciting, didn’t they? This feeling of starting can’t be payed.

As you know…

This week I’ve been a bit all over the place, moving the printer and the computer to the house where I’m staying these days. It’s quite distracting and tiring; sometimes I lose perspective on it all. But then, suddenly, I talk to someone, I make a drawing, I watch the ripples on the canal, or I look at the giant green clouds that are the trees and I think: this is where I need to be, and this is what I should be doing. And sometimes, what you need to do is just sit and watch the ripples on the canal and feel happy about it.

I hope to make you dream and enjoy this beautiful city of Paris with me; may we walk it and devour it together for yet another Sunday.
